I should really stop looking for sidesaddles for sale. Today I spotted this new listing at The Sidesaddlery: Owen sidesaddle
* It's a O.N.E.
* 22" so long enough for me.
* Outside billets which I just LOVE.
* And a tree wide enough to fit Molly.
My only complaint would be it doesn't have wide pommels, which I really prefer.
But at that price I would have to sell a child, or maybe a child's kidney... its ok to sell a child for spare parts on eBay to pay for a sidesaddle right...? ;)
Oh yes! Sell that child. From my limited knowledge of sidesaddles, if you find the perfect one, selling your soul is sometimes necessary to secure it!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't worry about the pommels. I thought I liked side pommels until I sat in my Whippy with it's medium pommels (they look exactly like the Owen you lust after!). To be honest, I can't feel a difference as I have that kuch padding on my legs, lol!
