The rain has also softened the ground and Molly's feet. I threw her on the lunge today and there is no sign of her favouring her right foot. I suspect the soreness was more to do with the ground being so hard and also her frog has cracked from being so dry, so the moisture has really helped.
The Xmas summer break ends next week and the kids go back to school. Then the farrier comes on Tuesday to put Molly's shoes back on, so it will be all go to try and get ready for the show on 20 Feb.
My battle with ESNZ continues... I have had to complete numerous forms about riding sidesaddle, including a declaration from my trainer that I can control my horse and that I'm not a public liability when I ride. How long before they ask for something else...? *sigh*
I have put Molly's bridle bling on her bridle so when we are out & about people will know who we are!
